UK Parliament
Official website of the UK Parliament. Track Bills, read Hansard debates, find committee reports, and follow the progress of legislation through both Houses.
Hansard
The official, substantially verbatim, record of debates in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Searchable by date, speaker, and subject.
Parliamentary Bills
Track current Bills before Parliament. View Bill text, explanatory notes, amendment papers, and progress through each legislative stage.
House of Commons Library
Independent research service for MPs. Publishes briefing papers, research summaries, and data on legislation, policy, and public affairs. An authoritative source of analysis.
House of Lords Library
Research service for members of the House of Lords. Publishes In Focus briefings and Lords Library Notes on Bills and policy areas.
Cabinet Office
Publishes the Guide to Making Legislation, which sets out the process for developing and promoting government Bills.

Legislation.gov.uk
The official online database of UK legislation, managed by The National Archives. Contains all Acts of Parliament, statutory instruments, and devolved legislation. The authoritative source for statute text.
The National Archives
The UK government's official archive. Manages legislation.gov.uk and holds the historical records of government, including original Acts of Parliament.
Legislation.uk
A searchable UK legislation library covering Acts of Parliament, statutory instruments, and devolved legislation with cross-references and amendment tracking.
BAILII
British and Irish Legal Information Institute. Free access to case law, legislation, and law reform reports from courts across the UK and Ireland.
Judiciary.uk
Official website of the courts and tribunals judiciary. Publishes judgments, practice directions, and guidance on judicial interpretation of legislation.
Law Reform
The Law Commission (England and Wales)
Statutory body established by the Law Commissions Act 1965 to keep the law under review and recommend reform. Publishes consultation papers, reports, and draft Bills.
Scottish Law Commission
The equivalent body for Scotland, established under the same 1965 Act. Reviews Scots law and makes recommendations for reform to Scottish Ministers.
Northern Ireland Law Commission (defunct)
The Northern Ireland Law Commission was established in 2007 under the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002 but was dissolved in 2015. Law reform work for Northern Ireland is now handled on an ad hoc basis.
Office of the Parliamentary Counsel
The government lawyers who draft all government Bills. Also publishes guidance on legislative drafting standards and plain language in legislation.

Scottish Parliament
Official website of the Scottish Parliament. Track Scottish Bills, read Official Reports (the Scottish equivalent of Hansard), and access committee papers.
Senedd Cymru (Welsh Parliament)
Official website of the Welsh Parliament. Track Welsh Bills, access the Record of Proceedings, and follow committee work on devolved legislation.
Northern Ireland Assembly

UK Constitutional Law Association
Academic blog and resource on UK constitutional law. Publishes commentary on legislative developments, devolution, and constitutional reform.
Institute for Government
Independent think tank that works to improve government effectiveness. Publishes research on the legislative process, delegated legislation, and Parliamentary scrutiny.
Hansard Society
Independent, non-partisan charity working to strengthen Parliament and Parliamentary democracy. Publishes research on legislative scrutiny, delegated legislation, and the quality of lawmaking.
The Constitution Unit (UCL)
Academic research centre at University College London. Publishes research on the House of Lords, devolution, and constitutional reform.
